Jacques Marie Mage has arrived at SPEX and it is an incredible signature eyewear line.

J.M.M includes debut collection of inspired spectacles, inspired by “seeing through the eyes of those artistic & intellectual giants that came before us”.

Founder & designer Jerome Jacques Marie Mage stresses that ” individuality is an inalienable right, an idea that demands it’s own unique expressions. The eyewear pieces that we have received so far have been beautiful, delicate, shiny metals & very rich, classic acetates. There is something for everyone. My favourite pieces are also incoporating both very sophisticated tints & clip-ons, two things that I have touched on previously on the blog- as being very desirable in todays current eyewear styles.

I have featured (on my face) one of my favourite pairs so far; the Peyote which was created by Jacques in collabortaion with The Gonzo Foundation. You may recognize the frame design from the famous film ” Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’. The Gonzo Foundation is a non-profit organization created to promote literature & political activism through the legacy of Hunter. S. Thompson, who wrote the novel that the movie was based on.
